How do I add an upsell to my product?

Upsell on Cloudfy works by chaining checkouts: once a plan's purchase is finished, the customer is taken to the next upsell's checkout.

1. Create a product and a plan for each upsell

For each upsell you need a product and then a plan. Create this for the main product too. In other words: in the end you'll have a plan for the main product and a plan for each upsell.

2. Set up upsell 1 on the main product's plan

  1. Go to Checkout Builder.
  2. At the top, enable Checkout Builder per plan.
  3. Select the main product's plan.
  4. Modify the checkout however you like.
  5. Click the gear icon (on the left) and then Completion.
  6. In External thank-you page, paste the link of your upsell 1 and save the changes.

3. Add an upsell 2 (and the next ones)

To chain one more upsell, instead of editing the main plan's checkout, select the upsell 1 plan. Adjust the checkout if you want something different for that plan, go again to gear › Completion and, in External thank-you page, put the upsell 2 link. Repeat for each new upsell.

The logic is always the same: a plan's external thank-you page points to the next upsell's link, forming the sequence main → upsell 1 → upsell 2 → …
